Inpatient Drug Treatment Center and Addiction

Inpatient Drug Treatment Center
Narconon Arrowhead is a long term, non-traditional, inpatient drug treatment center. What this means is that alcoholics or addicts come and reside at Narconon Arrowhead for the duration of their treatment. This is a self-paced program and is governed by results rather than a set number of days in treatment. A good average is generally 90 -120 days. Non traditional refers to the fact that we do not treat addiction or alcoholism as incurable diseases. Addiction and alcoholism can be beaten for a lifetime, and without constant worry about relapse or reversion. We work on the assumption of the basic goodness of the individual and their desire to create a drug and alcohol free lifestyle. Our inpatient drug treatment center assists the individual to confront, and resolve all life situations needing addressed and so remove the need to run from them with drugs or alcohol.

Drug Treatment Center and Addiction

Drug Treatment Center
A drug treatment center to be truly effective needs to address the entire individual as well as the many situations the individual finds himself involved with as a result of addiction and/or alcoholism. Drug treatment centers deal with the actual drug addictions of the individual of course, but an effective drug treatment center and its personnel also realize that there are issues such as legal, financial, family, and especially guilt and depression that must be resolved for the individual to realize a life that is truly drug free and productive. Narconon Arrowhead Drug Treatment Center addresses all factors necessary for the individual to be able to return home drug free and productive for a life time. Just getting clean is never enough!

After Drug Rehab and Addiction

After Drug Rehab
Ideally, what should follow after drug rehab treatment? The cravings to use drugs or alcohol should be fully handled and not constantly recurring. The Narconon New Life Detoxification Program removes the drugs and toxins that have been lodged in the body for years with most participants reporting an end to cravings at this point. The guilt and depression that goes hand and hand with addiction should be addressed and relieved, so as not to constantly haunt the individual. The Narconon life skills segment of the program has several phases that address exactly these points bringing much needed relief and going a long way towards restoring normal relationships and even improving on them. When the factors causing addiction are fully addressed the door is opened to a drug free and productive life.

Drug Rehab and Addiction

Drug Rehab
Researching and choosing the best drug rehab is a daunting task at best. There is long-term, short-term, traditional, non-traditional, inpatient, outpatient, etc... Understanding rehabilitation as restoring something or someone to a previous condition helps in sorting out the various forms of drug rehab. Narconon Arrowhead is a long-term, non-traditional drug rehab. We specialize in creating drug free productive lives, not someone who has simply stopped drug or alcohol use for the moment. Effective drug rehab should involve the full and complete handling of the three factors that lay behind continued drug use and numerous relapses. First are mental and physical cravings for drugs or alcohol. Second and third are guilt and depression resulting from the situations and circumstances of our addiction, as well as various forms of these three that led up to initial drug and alcohol use to begin with. There is more to drug rehab than simply ceasing drug or alcohol use.
